Birch Craft Construction LLC provides construction services, including but not limited to:

  • Exterior and interior construction

  • Siding, decking, trim work

  • Custom woodworking (bookshelves, cabinets, Murphy doors, fireplaces, mantles, surrounds)

We do not sell standalone products or materials; all work is performed as part of contracted construction services.

4. Estimates & Deposits

  • We offer free estimates for all potential projects.

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Deposits are fully refundable if the project is canceled before work starts.

  • If a client cancels after work has begun, a refund will be provided for uncompleted work, minus material and labor costs.

5. Payment & Refunds

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash App, Check.

  • Refunds are provided if a project is canceled before work begins.

  • If a project is canceled, whether by the client or Birch Craft Construction, any refund will be issued minus the cost of labor performed and materials purchased or used.

6. Permits & Client Responsibilities

  • Permit acquisition may be handled by either the client or Birch Craft Construction, depending on the project.

  • Clients must ensure access to the property for work to proceed.

7. Warranties & Workmanship

  • We do not offer a formal, written warranty, but we stand behind our workmanship and address concerns on a case-by-case basis.

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing structural issues.

  • Delays due to weather, supply chain issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Modifications made by the client or third parties after project completion.

  • Any disputes must first go through mediation and arbitration before legal action.

9. Use of Images & Project Photos

  • Clients must request written permission before using or sharing project images for commercial purposes.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

  • Disputes shall first be resolved through mediation and arbitration before litigation in Washtenaw County, Michigan.
